The Rare Book & Manuscript Library of Upenn holds over 850 Western manuscripts produced before 1601. One year ago we received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to create and make available on the Web all 800+ manuscripts. Halfway through the project, full facsimiles for over 400 codices, fragments, and documents are now available -- free of charge -- on the Internet [ Link ]
